    i suppose it is too late now, but wouldn't be more extensible to have one
    command recutil (or gnurec or whatever) with subcommands insert, select, 
fix,
    etc., instead of separate utilities?
    
    but maybe there's no plan for more commands, in which case it doesn't matter
    :).
    
I dislike the idea of having a dispatch command, mostly because of the
verbosity.  This could be mitigated using shell aliases, but the
recutils are intended to be also used in scripts.

More utilities can be added very easily using the facilities in
utils/recutl.[ch], where the common logic is encapsulated using
functions and macros (such as the management of common options).
