Details:
I'm afraid I couldn't understand the basic theory of auto-generated fields at
all, from either the descriptions or the examples. Are the "auto" fields
physically inserted into the database? Or synthesized on the fly and only
exist dynamically? Or maybe both happen in different circumstances?
In the summary for recfix, --auto is said to be "destructive". How so?
