If, hypothetically, a user such as myself were to contribute to the
recutils manual, what the preferred tools be.. docutils?
John is right. Take a look to the doc/recutils.texi file. It is a
written in Texinfo, which is the GNU standard for writing manuals. It
is quite straightforward, using obvious marks such as @section,
@chapter, and so on, so you don't need to master the language before
start contributing.
