         BTW, how would you integrate the tutorial material?
    
    A chapter of its own.  Probably right after the one currently titled
    "Record Descriptors".
    
Would'nt would be it preferable to have the tutorials at the top level,
one tutorial per chapter?  We could put them under a "Tutorial" group of
chapters in the main menu:

Tutorials
* Selecting data::
* Encrypting information::
* ...
