  in src/rec-int.c at line 1026


Compiling with:
  gcc 4.6.1
  glibc-2.13-1
I get some warnings (attached the log from the make command).

You'll find 47 warnings looking like this:
 rec-field.c:293:12: warning: ignoring return value of 'asprintf',
declared with attribute warn_unused_result [-Wunused-result]

and 1 more warning:
 recutl.c:460:13: warning: ignoring return value of 'fread', declared
with attribute warn_unused_result [-Wunused-result]
