[bug-recutils] recutils 1.1 and portability

Hi! :)

After the release of recutils 1.0 Bruno Haible raised some issues
regarding portability.  The usage of some glibc-specific features was
making it not possible to compile recutils in many platforms: notably
macosx, the BSD and mingw32.

Well, those problems should be fixed now in CVS, along with some other
bugs that I found in the meanwhile.  I would like to release recutils
1.1 now, but I don't have access to macosx or BSD systems myself to
verify the program compiles and runs the tests properly.

If some of you has access to such systems, I would appreciate a report
addressed to this list :)
