Hi,
I'm contacting you guys because of a file conflict between the above two rpms.
/usr/share/man/man3/history.3.gz appears to be shared/owned by these two pkgs
which is causing the rpm command to choke and puke. This is in response to pkg
upgrade on a Fedora 24 x86_64 system. I have submitted a bug report for this on
the RedHat bugzilla site bugzilla.redhat.com. Bug 1349671 -file conflict
between libedit-devel and readline-devel (edit)
Are you the "right" people to contact in regard to this problem?
Error: Transaction check error:
file /usr/share/man/man3/history.3.gz from install of
libedit-devel-3.1-15.20160618cvs.fc25.x86_64 conflicts with file from package
readline-devel-6.3-8.fc24.x86_64
file /usr/share/systemtap/tapset/sssd.stp conflicts between attempted
installs of sssd-common-1.14.0-1.fc25.alpha.i686 and
sssd-common-1.14.0-1.fc25.alpha.x86_64
