[Bug-readline] Readline 6.0 patch 004 trapped signal echoed to console

Hi
It seems that using readline 6.0 redisplay trapped signal to the console.
I have the same problem with bash and irb (both uses readline) : Ctrl-C and 
Ctrl-Z are echoed to the terminal as ^C and ^Z.
This feature si really anoying when 
It does not occur when I use readline 5.2 on another installation of archlinux
