RCS 5.9.4 check fails

Hi,

I have built RCS 5.9.4 and one check fails as follows:

... make check TESTS='t810' VERBOSE=1
make  btdt

directory t810.d looks like this:

I am guessing that the test script is actually at fault here but
I NEED confirmation please.
