I'm getting much better results with that, gcc-4.6.3 compiles
fine, and allthe tests succeeded. One little oddity I ran
across is that I seem to need gnu-make... sysv make here
waits for standard input on a bunch of sed invocation. I'm
sure that's not intentional, right?
I have just released 5.8.1. Could you please try it out and let
me know if these problems persist?
Forgot to point out that HP's compiler still won't compile all
of the new rcs, you'll see the errors in the log I attached
last time.
Attached is rather big because of repetitions, and the warning
level is higher than I normally use, but enjoy it!
I think i addressed all the warnings for 5.8. How does 5.8.1 fare?
Now that i've changed to MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH, i hope 5.8.2 will come
out more quickly. Thanks for hanging in there. :-D
