‘type COMMAND’ vs ‘ which COMMAND’ |

Some days ago, i replaced the bashism ‘type -p COMMAND’,
with ‘which COMMAND’:
http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/rcs.git/commit/?id=bdfd74ce
Unfortunately, hydra does not support ‘which COMMAND’:
http://hydra.nixos.org/build/1477088/download/1/nix-build-ikn5p29k221dsh29vgv16l5avx1y4cf1-rcs-UNKNOWN.drv-0/rcs-UNKNOWN/tests/t150.d/out
One solution is to inform hydra about which(1); i am studying how
to do this. The other is to revert to ‘type COMMAND’ (without
the ‘-p’). I am unsure what path to take. What do people think?
