Dear whoever may help me,

I tried to compile the sources of GNU-Prolog on an oldish Linux i586-machine (166mhz). After doing ./config, I started make and got the following message set (the suspicious lines are marked >>>> at the bottom):

bash-2.03# make
(cd EnginePl; make config)
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/packages/SOURCE
l'
gcc -O3 -finline-functions -fomit-frame-pointer  -o p
./pl_config

Could you tell me, what's gone wrong?

Many thanks in advance
