print [MINOR] display the partition table, or a partition

rescue START END rescue a lost partition near START and END
resize MINOR START END resize filesystem on partition MINOR
rm MINOR delete partition MINOR
select DEVICE choose the device to edit
set MINOR FLAG STATE change a flag on partition MINOR
(parted) h mkpart
mkpart PART-TYPE [FS-TYPE] START END make a partition
PART-TYPE is one of: primary, logical, extended
FS-TYPE is one of: ext3, ext2, fat32, fat16, hfs+, hfs, jfs,
linux-swap,
ntfs, reiserfs, hp-ufs, sun-ufs, xfs, apfs2, apfs1, asfs, amufs5,
amufs4, amufs3, amufs2, amufs1, amufs0, amufs, affs7, affs6, affs5,
affs4, affs3, affs2, affs1, affs0
START and END are in megabytes. Negative values count from the
end of
the disk.
mkpart makes a partition without creating a new file system on the
partition. FS-TYPE may be specified to set an appropriate partition
ID.
(parted) mkpart primary ext3

Some background: This is a brand new server with 20x1TB disks in a Raid
6 on a 3ware 9650 Raid controller, the OS was Knoppix 5.1 as I was
trying to set it up.
