Can't print partition table after 32GB clamp applied |

Hi folks.
I have version 1.4.21 of parted.
I have a 40GB hard disk and a buggy BIOS that cannot boot of a HD bigger
than 32GB. I did some partitioning without the 32GB jumper then decided
to run the drive in 32GB mode. Mostly this worked.
When I decided to sort the drive out properly I found that parted could
not print the partion table. I think this was because the extended
parititon (created to house swap space) ran beyond the last cylinder on
the disk (the error report led me to believe this).
I'm sorry I did not record the parted session (since I'm sure the error
reports would have been useful to you) but I only remembered to file
this bug after I had de-mangled my HD with fdisk.
Thanks for a very useful tool.
Cheers
Daniel
