Hmm, came up with another idea: A ramdisk.
My machine that I want to re-partition over telnet has 512 MB of RAM, so I
can spare 100 MB to make a ramdisk. Now I just have to figure out what
programs need to be on the ramdisk, then maybe I can put what I need on
the ramdisk, unmount every other partition, and make it work...
