Hi,
i hope i can help you with following report:
following message occurs for /dev/hda7 and /dev/hda9.
(parted) No Implementation: This ext2 filesystem has a rather strange
layout! Please use
dumpe2fs on this filesystem and send it to <address@hidden>. I won't resize
it,
sorry.
Version: GNU Parted 1.4.14
Disk has been created with powerquest drive image, partitions 8 and 9 have
been moved with powerquest partition magic. fdisk and sfdisk from redhat 6.2
have been used.
Partition magic cannot move or resize partition 7 (error 508: nothing to
do).
Windows 2000 on partion 1 and 5 does not boot anymore, since all partitions
have been copied from a smaller disk.
Linux is working without problems.
parted shows following warning:
Warning: The operating system thinks the geometry on /dev/hda is
4999/255/63.
Therefore, cylinder 1024 ends at 8032.499M. You should check that this
matches
the BIOS geometry before using this program.
BIOS does automatically see these values.
# parted /dev/hda print
