Hi,
I have recently discovered the project and was
wondering if anyone could provide any pointers on how
to improve the results (Currently I am using v0.7).
Unfortunately I have been unable to get my scanner
working as of yet in GNU\Linux so I cannot save in the
native format supported by the program so I have tried
saving in TIF, PCX & GIF and then using the netpbm
tools to convert into the supported pbm format.
What format would you recommend for scanning the
images in at, I have mostly tried 256-Scale Grey,
300DPI. Also when savng the images I have been opting
for no compression.
The current output I am getting is certainly
encouraging for a project at this early stage but I
would like to see it at it's best by using the correct
input data.
Thanks in advance.
Lee
