that can alter the timing a little, though I don't see that changing
the dependencies, because the debug library isn't used for building
the Ada binding.
 
however - I'm collecting data.  One of my (hardware) hosts has enough
cores that the virtual machine I set up can get a failure, after a while.
I just ran repeated make-j8 builds in a loop, and got a failure (in progs)
after 32 tries.
