agreed. The linux console might not be a popular option on the desktop now but what about the internet of things? Lots of times people need text input and don't need to run X. I am spread thin right now but I would like to work with GPM at some point in the future. In the meantime, I can help anyone else that wants to develop and maintain GPM.
One thing that might be nice is a better mouse cursor. -Patrick
