st terminfo broken

My distro updated to ncurses-6.0_p20171125. Which crashes st
(https://dl.suckless.org/st/st-0.7.tar.gz). I also tested with the
newest 6.0 patchlevel I could find: ncurses-6.0-20180121. Same
problem. However if I compile the bundled terminfo of st:
tic -s st.info
everything works fine. I guess something is out of sync.
