Screen corruption not completely fixed with 20170827

First, I'd like to express my gratitude towards all the hard work.
Thanks for maintaining such an important project!

I'm using Arch Linux. A recent update from 20170527 to 20170827 breaks
`htop`, which seems similar to a previously reported bug. [1]
TERM=gnome fixes the layout, too. Screenshots can be found at [2] and
[3]. After checking multiple ncurses version, I confirm the bug also
starts from 20170729. This occurs on multiple terminals, including
qterminal (latest git snapshot 0.7.1.32.gae7ecee-1), konsole
(17.08.0-1) and xfce4-terminal (0.8.6-1).

Please tell me if more environment details are necessary.
