Another thing to consider, that I forgot to mention:
- iTerm2 supports italics, but the iterm entry does not have
enter_italics_mode or exit_italics_mode.
The commentary seems to indicate that terminfo has not yet recognized the existence of iTerm2. Note that if one looks at the URL given in the iTerm entry for terminfo, there is a notice near to the start of the page pointing from iTerm to iTerm2.
