Hi K.S.,

I have done considerable experimentation with ncurses keycodes and escape-sequences, including a utility to capture both the raw data and the translated data.

If you are interested in conducting your own experiments, please contact me off-list: address@hidden

I have attached a screenshot of the utility as a teaser.

The 'ncdialogapi' package download is currently off-line, but I could email you the daily build. Requires GNU G++ 4.8.0 or higher and ncurses 5.9.20130511 or higher.

Hi,

Is there any way for ncurses to detect a shift+enter combination?  I know that alt+[keys] have to be separated into two ‘gets’s.  Is there a FAQ to explain which key-combinations work?  For example,  ctrl+shift+[key] is the same as ctrl+[key].

Thank you!
