Hi, excuse me for the bad English... I develop a new Linux distribution, named "SaraswatiLinux", based on the "dormant" GoboLinux. I am not a "hacker", only a "power user".
A try make the system "up-to-date", cca in the order via "LFS", but in the compile process of lot of programs which need ncurses, it become me the following error messages (for ekzample in the following case, at compiling of "MOC"):

System/Links/Executables/ld: interface_elements.o: undefined reference to symbol 'acs_map'
/System/Links/Executables/ld: note: 'acs_map' is defined in DSO /System/Links/Libraries//libtinfo.so.5 so try adding it to the linker command line
/System/Links/Libraries//libtinfo.so.5: could not read symbols: Invalid operation
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [mocp] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/Files/Compile/Sources/moc-2.5.0-beta1'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/Files/Compile/Sources/moc-2.5.0-beta1'
make: *** [all] Error 2

My ncurses is the 5.9-r1 version, and it is compiled with GCC 4.7.2 and Glibc 2.15, with the --with-termlib options. Of course, the /System/Links/Libraries path are in the ld.so.conf file. My BinUtils is the 2.23.1 version.
I not would like hacking step-by-step all programs what I need compile to my system, please give me if possible any method, what I need do with the ncurses. No problem, if I need recompile the ncurses, only say me please, how I need do it. This error with the "acs_map" and libtinfo.so.5 comes not only with the moc, but all programs which have ncurses dependencies. I think hence/therefore, the problem not in the moc and all other programs, but in the ncurses. And as I searched in the Google, I see, other peoples has same this error/problem in the ncurses, under not GoboLinux, with other (haved traditional filesystem) Linux-distros.

Thanks the help!

Zoli
