The cause is a sed-expression which failed due to an empty string on the left
side.
It shows up in the configure stage, near the end.
Fixing that, I don't see anything in particular wrong otherwise (but my mingw
configuration doesn't have a working libtool, since I installed a 64-bit
compiler
but didn't rebuild libtool... I can do that if further investigation is needed)
