Yes, it is correct that the mailing list is for the CDK as well. But
that doesn't really affect my point. My point is that the mailing list
is dedicated to ncurses and the CDK only -- not to derived projects.
It is fine to send a mail just once to inform the mailing list of the
existence of a derived project, like yours. But it is not very
appropriate to keep sending announcements of new versions of your
project. Most people on this mailing list are interested in ncurses
or
the CDK;
they do not necessarily appreciate mails about related but
different projects.
Perhaps you should consider to set up a mailing list for your project.
Then anyone who wishes to receive your announcements can subscribe to
your mailing list.
