Using cppcheck-1.29 against ncurses-5.7.
ncurses located: http://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/ncurses/ncurses-5.7.tar.gz
cppcheck reported:
./ncurses/base/safe_sprintf.c:115: (error) Memory leak: format
I thought this was a false positive, however the maintainers of cppcheck think otherwise as noted in the bug report below:
