dialog lockup problem

Hi,

I've found what appears to be a problem with dialog v1.0-20051107 when running on Redhat ES 5 (linux 2.6.18-53). The processor is i686 based (32-bit intel)
Once the application has been run 5 times, it will no longer work and just hangs with a flashing cursor at the top-left of the screen until broken by CTRL+C.
The only remedy so far is to reboot the linux server.

For example, running the following 5 times in a row will cause the problem:

    dialog --msgbox "hello" 5 20

Here is the information for the server:

asdev5:Rialto:/usr/deliver> uname -a
Linux asdev5 2.6.18-53.el5 #1 SMP Wed Oct 10 16:34:02 EDT 2007 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
asdev5:Rialto:/usr/deliver>

asdev5:Rialto:/usr/deliver> dialog --version
Version: 1.0-20051107
asdev5:Rialto:/usr/deliver>

asdev5:Rialto:/usr/deliver> rpm -qa | grep dialog
dialog-1.0.20051107-1.2.2
asdev5:Rialto:/usr/deliver>

asdev5:Rialto:/usr/deliver> rpm -qa | grep ncurses
ncurses-devel-5.5-24.20060715
ncurses-5.5-24.20060715
asdev5:Rialto:/usr/deliver>

This problem appears on all Redhat ES 5 servers. Those running linux 2.4 with dialog v0.9b-20020814 do not have the problem.

Thanks
