curs_set question

Hi,

I found a bug in CGDB, and it's probably related to ncurses (or my use
of it).  When I call the function "curs_set (0);" then, ncurses writes this to
the bottom window,
  \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

This only happens under one circumstance though. Most of the time this
code behaves correctly. Do you have any idea what could cause something
like this?
