I changed most of the test/* which omitted a notice earlier this month.
There are some which I am still reviewing.  Of course you're aware that
a few of those files are modified from pdcurses, so it would be incorrect
to put some one else's copyright on it.

yes, I should change that.  The odd wording predates ncurses 4.2, iirc.
It didn't pop out when I was grep'ing for copyrights a while back.

hmm "many" sounds like a large fraction.  Some are data files, some are 
generated.  I'll review the ones that aren't data, etc.
