_nc_cap_table undeclared

hi,

 I am cross compiling ncurses-5.4 for arc using uclibc-0.9.27.
 while cross compiling i am facing with the following problem.

  In function '_nc_get_table;:
      '_nc_cap_table' undeclared (first use in this function)
      '_nc_info_table undeclared

 I searched on net for this problem but i came accross only the mails saying 
this error,
 but i cld'nt find any solution

 I will  be thankful to the person who can reply to my mail stating the 
solution.
