I got the following on NetBSD/sparc-1.5:
./configure --help
says:
--prefix=PREFIX install architecture-independent files in PREFIX
[/usr/local]
But different from both what is documented, and from any other configure
script I've seen, CF_CFG_DEFAULTS changes the default to
openbsd*|netbsd*|freebsd*|linux*|cygwin*|k*bsd*-gnu)
prefix=/usr
Please remove this and let the default be /usr/local for _all_
architectures.
