odd - I don't recall changing the content of the test (but will check for
that).  I was assuming that the only thing that had changed was that I
had added acs_map to the list of things that should be repaired.  But it
would be simple for me to modify the configure script option to allow
overriding the test.  Right now iirc, it lets me tell it that the linker
_is_ broken; I can modify it to allow me to tell it that it is _not_,
also.  I'll probably do that on this week's patch.
