As described in the ncurses source distribution or at
http://www.gnu.org/directory/ncurses.html which is also Google's first 
hit for "ncurses license", the license an MIT-style one.

Just stay away from GPL'd libraries, then. No other license tha I know 
of has this problem. Another one: Be sure to only link dynamically to 
LGPL'ed libraries, too, as linking statically will require you to make 
your object files available.
