Problem with 20010602 and mutt

Using xterm-156 and mutt-1.3.18i

When using ncurses-5.2-20010526, everything works fine.

But using 20010602 gives very strange artifacts when scrolling down using
the 'j' key.  A staircase like effect.

Has anyone else noticed similar effects?

>From looking at the patch, there doesn't appear to be any changes to the
terminfo stuff.

I'll recompile the software and do some dumps with script.
