thanks for your report.  I think the first problem is caused by:

AC_CHECK_LIB(gcrypt, gcry_control, AC_DEFINE(GCRY_CONTROL, 1,
                     [Define if the gcry_control function is present]))

that should be:

AC_CHECK_LIB(gcrypt, gcry_control)


In the latter, -lgcrypt is present in LDFLAGS.  Also GCRY_CONTROL is not
used by MyServer anymore.


About the second problem, I couldn't reproduce it on Ubuntu, Debian and
Fedora.

Is the NixOS ISO image available on the website enough to reproduce your
environment?
