Details:

I cannot get the MIT/GNU Scheme 10.1.6.app to launch on my macOS 10.13.6
installation, which is fully patched as of today.

Downloading a (MD5 verified) version of mit-scheme-10.1.6-x86-64.dmg and
copying the enclosed .app file to the Applications folder results in a
Gatekeeper warning upon first opening. This is, I assume, expected behavior,
but control-clicking on the app and selecting "Open" as a way to circumvent
this, while it does indeed get rid of the warning, causes the app to launch
and immediately shut down.

The following item appears in my Console when I attempt to do this:

taskgated (Security)
Subsystem: com.apple.securityd Category: security_exception
MacOS error: -67062

Googling around hasn't provided me with any answers; it appears whatever
code-signing/integrity problem is tripping up Gatekeeper is beyond just the
usual unsigned binary.
