Details:

Building an svm system on a 9.2 i386 host fails with a SIGFPE (overflow) while
cross-compiling runtime/arith.scm, while computing (float->integers 2.0).  The
build on an x86_64 host does not (notice? the) overflow.

Reverting 521ffb3 "On i386, avoid FCOM[P] and FTST in favour of FUCOM[P]."
fixes the problem(!?).
