URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?27491> Summary: IMAIL spends too much time parsing header fields Project: MIT/GNU Scheme Submitted by: riastradh Submitted on: Mon 21 Sep 2009 16:47:32 GMT Category: imail Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Suboptimal behavior Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: riastradh Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Keywords: _______________________________________________________ Details: 99% of the time spent sorting a folder is parsing the header fields on which the order is determined. The actual sorting is nearly instantaneous. Either the parsing should be sped up, or its results should be cached. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?27491> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
