[Bug-mit-scheme] nasty imail problem

I had an rmail file open with imail and used 'o' to copy some
messages from it to an imail folder. Some of the messages show
up fine in the imail folder, but some show just the header -- no body!
I used 'o' again to copy from the original rmail file to a new
rmail-style file. When I read that new file with imail, it is fine
(all bodies show). Then I tried using 'o' to copy the messages
from the imail folder to another new rmail-style file.
When I read that new file with imail, it is fine (all bodies show).
Thus the messages were written in their entirely to the imail folder,
but just can't be read from there.

Why am I doing this? Attempting to convert some of my mail filing
from rmail files to imail folders. But failing, as I now have to
keep the rmail-file copies of these messages.

Summary:

original rmail copy: GOOD
copied from original rmail file to imail folder: BAD
copied from original rmail file to another rmail file: GOOD
copied from imail folder to another rmail file: GOOD

This may be the same problem we talked about once before,
where filed messages that I edited to remove mime content
are not parsed "correctly." One of my three "bad" messages has

Content-Type: multipart/alternative;
        boundary="----_=_NextPart_001_01C6890B.10BFC8FD"

(though I removed the boundaries and the alternative version)
and one has

Content-Type: multipart/mixed;
        boundary="----_=_NextPart_000_01C69C8D.1F0A275E"

(though I removed the boundaries and the attachment)

On the other hand, one of the messages that works fine also
had mime content removed.

I am not posting the bad messages right now for you, because
I don't really want to put them in a public place. Maybe
I should just e-mail you the headers?

Or maybe you don't need further info because this isn't among
the supposedly fixed problems?

Thanks,
Julie
