[Bug-mit-scheme] new imail summary date bug?!

From: Julie Sussman
Subject: [Bug-mit-scheme] new imail summary date bug?!
Date: Fri, 29 Aug 2008 18:58:50 -0400
User-agent: IMAIL/1.21; Edwin/3.116; MIT-Scheme/7.7.90.+

My imail summary displays the date, because I have
(set-variable! imail-summary-show-date #t) in my .edwin

Until this afternoon, this date display was fine, but
now it is off by a month. For example, this is the summary
line for a message I received today, 29 Aug:

     F 226  2322  29 Jul  address@hidden: EECS  address@hidden

The display of the message shows the correct date:
     Date: Fri, 29 Aug 2008 17:11:15 -0400
and the computer knows the correct date, and all the
"received" headers have the correct date.

If I write the message to an rmail-format file and read it
with rmail from emacs, the summary shows the correct date.

I am running the following system on Jerry's office machine, maharal:

  Image saved on Friday August 29, 2008 at 2:42:36 PM
    Release 7.7.90.+ || Microcode 15.1 || Runtime 15.7 || SF 4.41
    LIAR/i386 4.118  || Edwin 3.116    || SOS 1.8      || IMAIL 1.21

Jerry says he compiled that from the CVS sources today, on maharal.

A different version, which he made later this afternoon (8/29)
but from a scheme tarball from 8/26 (CVS sources gotten on 8/26),
works fine. So it looks as if whatever the problem is was introduced
between some time on 8/26 and some time on 8/29.
