Make on OpenVMS 7.2 causes Access Violation when rsh-started from a unix box.

A make process was created on OpenVMS 7.1 using GNU Make 3.79.
It worked locally on OpenVMS box (@start_gnumake.com) as well as remotely
from a unix box (rsh vmsbox "@start_gnumake").

The VMS box was upgraded - faster CPU and OpenVMS 7.2.

The make process still works on the upgraded VMS box, but when started from
a unix box via rsh, causes Access Violation at the very beginning (near or
at child_execute_job).

GNU Make was recompiled on the new VMS. The problem remains.

Do you have any ideas??? Both about the cause of the remote make failure as
well as ways to trace it???
