   We have `mimeview' program, which offers a similar functionality.  
   
With metamail, I run "| metamail" or "| metamail -w" from
the mail prompt to extract an attachment.  "| mimeview" gives
"No files given"; I'm not seeing anything from --help that 
appears useful.  Suggestions?

I'm not sure how to test it, therefore, to see if it can do 
what metamail cannot (since mimeview seems to assume metamail's
presence.  By the by, metamail cannot extract multipart/alternative
or display richtext content very well).
