I run autogen.sh, configure and then make. What am I missing?
And some unrelated questions: How is dbm/gdbm/bsddb used in mailutils and what functionality will I earn by enabling it?1. In mail.local: support for mail quotas in DBM files 2. In pop3d: support for APOP command and LOGINDELAY capability. 3. In sieve: caching of sender email addresses in the vacation action.
Very interesting, thanks. So if no dbm support is compiled in, these features are unavailable?
Is maildir support complete in all utilities?Almost all utilities use the same set of libraries, so the support for maildir is the same for them. Notice, however, that mail.local works only with UNIX mailbox and maildir support in imap4d has not been tested thoroughly (in particular, with the LIST command).
Indeed I was mostly interested for imap4d, so perhaps this gives me the opportunity to perform the testing that was missing. :-)
Thank you, Dimitris
