Everything seem to work just fine with utf-8 strings. The '#pragma
encoding' sounds like a good idea. 
The bug with the temporary files is fixed and from a small stress test
I performed, I noticed no problems. Anyway, the pieces of code that I
used in my mda will be stress tested under production conditions
(hundreds of thousands of mail users) soon -:)
