When running mail and then using
`m' or `mail' to mail someone
and appending their aliases from
the alias list, the mail program
fails to expand the alias. Instead
it tries to mail them to local users
which of course isn't there.
In my case I try to mail my two
brothers with the following aliases:
`alex' and `kenneth', but instead
of expanding those two aliases,
mail tries to send the letter
to address@hidden' and address@hidden'
(`debian' is my hostname). In my
$HOME/.mailrc file I do have aliases
for my brothers like this:
alias alex [the email address of alex]
alias kenneth [the email address of kenneth]
