[bug-mailutils] Build problems on ReiserFS

Hi,

Some time ago, Daniel Schepler from Debian reported that his mailutils
build would always die on i386. That was very weird, as it not only
built ok on that arch ok for me, but also on the other 9 architectures
in Debian.

Today, he sent a followup:

> I was building using reiserfs, which tends to change the order of

> could be changed to sort the listings, I think that would probably fix

Does this make sense? Can the sorting be changed?
