Sergey:

I did not notice a formal GNU bug submission process for mailutils, so I
will send it to you.

Here is some of the build output after downloading the CVS snapshot from
today:

When I "make" from the mailutils root directory, I get this:

make[3]: Leaving directory `/anotes/email/mailutils/po'
: --update ca.po mailutils.pot
rm -f ca.gmo && : -c --statistics -o ca.gmo ca.po
mv: t-ca.gmo: No such file or directory
make[2]: *** [ca.gmo] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/anotes/email/mailutils/po'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/anotes/email/mailutils'
make: *** [all] Error 2

When I "make" from the "mailbox" directory, I get this:

mailutils-config.c:134: warning: implicit declaration of function
`strcmp'
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `../lib/libmailutils.la', needed by
`mailutils-config'. Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory `/anotes/email/mailutils/mailbox'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/anotes/email/mailutils/mailbox'
make: *** [all] Error 2

But what I am really after are the libmailbox.so.0.0.0.0 file, which is
the shared library that makes popread
able to do it's thing. It seems like this library built OK. I will
proceed to use it and feed back
to you my results.

What is the purpose behind the "mailbox2" directory in the CVS snapshot?

Thanks,

Mark Diener
