Here is a sample program to send and receive email.

You wanted a programmatic way to do it and here it is.

This sample created by Sergey Panzyakoff.

DNS failures are usually a computer setup problem.

If you are using linux, type this at a command line prompt: nslookup
www.google.com.

This may identify why your DNS is not working.
