They are also the first thing build by ./configure; make, so everything
dies.
Texinfo choked on the @xref, said it needed a comma or period after,
also the Makefile isn't making version.texi, I have no idea why, it's
some kind of autogenerated rule, apparently.
I like the doc organization.
